Mark is the founder and President of MAR Global Services Inc., a firm he has led since 2000 with a focus on delivering high‑impact solutions to major construction and infrastructure organizations worldwide. A graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University, he began his career with Grant Thornton and Ernst & Young, building a foundation in financial, operational, and advisory excellence. Over more than two decades, Mark has directed complex international projects across multiple continents, earning a reputation for strategic leadership, operational discipline, and global execution. His work spans large‑scale construction, corporate consulting, and multinational field operations. Mark is also a dedicated father of three, balancing an accomplished professional career with a strong commitment to family.

Every tax dollar is earned through hard work. I will insist every expense is necessary, effective, and in the best interest of residents.
Government should serve the community, not expand its own reach. I will keep the Village focused on its core responsibilities.
A clear, timely, consistent permitting process that respects property rights and removes government as an obstacle.
Bring issues to a real decision instead of endless tabling that wastes time and erodes public trust.
Open records, clear communication, and honest answers about how tax dollars are spent - non-negotiable.
Defend local control, individual liberty, and the property rights that keep Volente special.

Why I'm Running
I know the frustration of a government that moves slowly, spends freely, and answers to no one. Volente deserves a mayor who will listen first, spend carefully, and decide clearly.
